The 2003 Swiss Europa Cup.

Held again this year at the spectacular Thun ranges, the event proved to be the highest standard since last years' World Championships.  No less than six current Olympic quota place winners (in the small bore events) were among the field of 80 shooters that competed over three days.

In the men's prone event Pascal Bessy won on count back with 599.  The top British shooter, Simon Aldhouse, could only make 10th place with 596, and Tony Lincoln in only his second 300m Europa Cup shot a respectable score of 593 placing him in 30th place.

The highlight of the competition was Raymond Debevec who took the gold in the men's 3X40 with a score of 1184 (398, 392, 394)
